Angry Birds Turns 2!

Rovio was happy to announce the 2nd birthday of Angry Birds, which will be celebrated all over the world on December 11th!
Fans will able to enjoy a new “Happy Birdday” update for Angry Birds, featuring 15 new birthday cake levels, new menus and graphics, and special achievements. On top of that, Rovio is introducing the new Rovio channel, giving fans access to their favorite content (news, games, videos, facebook, Angry Birds shop, ect.)
That’s not all. Gamers can head over to Barnes and Noble on December 11th from 11 am to 3 pm to take party in special events and giveaways (there is even going to be a scavenger hunt. Ok…I’ll be the first to ask. Are they going too far with this Angry Birds thing? No. Well check this:
“For Angry Birds fans in Japan, Rovio CMO and Mighty Eagle Peter Vesterbacka will be giving a special presentation at the Apple store in Ginza. Vesterbacka will share stories about how Rovio took Angry Birds from just another mobile game to a worldwide entertainment success story and how the App Store was involved. In Harajuku, Tokyo, an Angry Birds event will give fans a chance to play games and win prizes.” – Press
Yea…Angry Birds is here to stay. Truth be told, I’m looking forward to Rovio launching its next title, whenever that happens!
